NATIONAL HEALTHY SCHOOLS DAY IS MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2008
National Healthy Schools Day, the first day of School Building Week, and is
being
coordinated by the Healthy Schools Network in cooperation with the U.S. EPA, the
CEFPI Foundation & Charitable Trust, and the national Coalition for Healthier
Schools. It?s a day of nationally coordinated local events celebrating healthy
indoor environments for all schools and all children. In 2007, there were more
than 40 events in 20 states and the District of Columbia. Events included
workshops on green cleaning, High Performance School design, facility IAQ
walk-throughs and visits, petitions, city and state Legislative Resolutions,
and much more.
