Ask a Concerned Scientist a question

Our (SMH) question:
Why is current science related to dampness, mold, and Indoor Air Quality being avoided? For instance, the World Health Organization, July, 2009, and the IOM, 2004, have clearly stated that indoor mold and dampness are public health threats. In fact, the WHO Guidelines to Indoor Air Quality: Dampness and Mould (2009) tell us that WHO finds indoor dampness (and mold) to be clearly associated with development of new asthma, shortness of breath, sinus and respiratory infections, and perturbation of the immune system. Yet the CDC and EPA soft-pedal the issue AND ignore the recommendations of the US GAO Mold Audit (2008). What is the UCS position on this federal coverup?
