PATHOGENICITY IN HUMANS
Etiologic agent of otomycosis (183-185), "Swimmer's ear" (1,2), onychomycosis (382), can cause bronchopulmonary(174), pulmonary(186,187), nasosinus (191) aspergillosis, pneumonia(189), eye infections (122,161) and invasive lung (189), heart (190) and other disease (1,2).
IDENTIFICATION CHARACTERISTICS on POTATO DEXTROSE AGAR (PDA)
Initially white, quickly becoming black. Reverse pale yellow. Conidia brown to black, very rough. (2)
