Note by SMH: Mold-sensitized individuals (due to exposures) and children may experience health effects (sometimes severe) from far lower amounts of mold than are described below. Additionally, some other countries have established safe levels below 200 spores/cu.meter. Lastly, toxin-producing molds may not show up in testing at all or in high amounts, for a variety of reasons, yet may be producing toxins inside the building and other fungal elements that cause illness.
